The short version
Invoicing Studio runs entirely in your browser. The details you enter, your business information, client information, logo, line items, and amounts, are stored only on your own device. We do not have an account system, and we do not keep a database of your documents. We never receive the contents of your invoices.
Information we do not collect
Because the tool works locally, we do not collect or store:
- The contents of your invoices or other documents.
- Your clients' names, addresses, or contact details.
- Any logo or image you add.
- Account details, because there are no accounts to create.
Information stored on your device
To make the tool convenient, we save a few things in your browser's local storage so your work is there when you come back:
This information stays in your browser until you remove it. You can clear it at any time by starting a new invoice, removing your logo, or clearing this site's data in your browser settings. It is not shared with us or anyone else.
- Your business profile (name, address, logo, and payment details), so your letterhead is ready next time.
- The invoice you are currently editing, so a refresh does not lose your work.
- Your light or dark theme preference.
Analytics
We use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics to understand how many people visit the site and which pages are useful. This measures visits in aggregate. It does not use cookies, does not track you across other websites, and does not collect information that identifies you.
Cookies
The tool uses your browser's local storage, described above, to save your work. It does not set tracking or advertising cookies.
Advertising
We do not currently display third-party advertising. If that changes, we will update this policy and describe any advertising partners and their data practices before enabling them.
Third-party links
We may link to third-party services, for example accounting or payment tools. Those services have their own privacy practices, which we do not control. We encourage you to review their policies.
Data security
Because your invoice data stays on your device rather than on our servers, its security depends on your own device and browser. We recommend keeping your device and browser up to date, and being cautious on shared or public computers.
Children
Invoicing Studio is a business tool and is not directed at children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date shown at the top of this page.
